On 30 August 1977, Bank Negara Malaysia has issued commemorative coins 1 Ringgit 20 years of Merdeka in conjunction with Malaysia's independence day to 20 years. Coins using metal Cupro-Nickel that is legal tender (legal tender) and issued in the form of proof and not proof.
